For more than three decades, Kerrie has created projects that bring together art, storytelling, education, community, and imagination. Her love of the Earth and fascination with the power of creativity inspired the world of Kai Dolphin.
Kai Dolphin’s Voyage – The Greatest Mission is the first book in a growing creative universe, with more stories and projects in development.
Kerrie believes that when we give children room to imagine, explore, and create, they can discover their own ways to make a difference.
Scott Huckabay
Musician & Composer
Scott Huckabay is a world-traveling guitarist and composer whose music is built on healing frequency. That sound is the heart of Kai Dolphin’s Voyage: Kai swims the oceans to raise music venues so song, friendship, and care can travel from one shore to the next.
Scott’s guitar, Oceana, and his lifelong devotion to tone, feeling, and connection shape the musical current running through the story. Drawing on Chiricahua Apache roots and a deep love of the living Earth, he writes and plays as a caretaker—inviting listeners to slow down, listen, and join the work of looking after the waters we share.
Scott’s music gives Kai’s greatest mission its pulse: frequency, gathering places, and the joy of making beauty together.

Illustrator
Gustyawan is a children’s book illustrator from Indonesia whose work is inspired by animals, cultural traditions, and the sea.
His illustrations focus on expressive characters and strong visual storytelling, blending warmth and simplicity with a clear sense of place.
For Kai Dolphin’s Voyage – The Greatest Mission, Gustyawan helped bring Kai, his friends, and the world beneath the waves to life through engaging artwork created to spark nature, imagination, and adventure in young readers.
